Apr. 2--Bill Gates doesn't run Citrix Systems Inc., but his fingerprints can be found all over the South Florida company's products -- and its red-hot stock price.
Not that Citrix minds the attention. It makes software products with names like WinFrame and WinView that help Microsoft's Windows operating system run computer programs faster and from remote locations.
That alone, given last August's mega-introduction of Windows 95, is much of the reason for Citrix's near-tripling of its stock price since going public at $15 last December.
