WELL-KNOWN paint company SigmaKalon has been taken over by paint giant PPG.
The Birstall-based company was taken over in an acquisition in January, which now places it as the second biggest coatings company in the world.
The Huddersfield Road factory has seen new signs installed over the last month and customers may gradually get to see the difference in the company.
Managing director Greg Molyneux said the difference between SigmaKalon and PPG was the focus on the company's future.
