The school where everyone matters - Warwick Road.

A BATLEY school has been judged 'good' in all areas in a recent Ofsted report.

Government inspectors visited Warwick Road Junior, Infant and Nursery School in June.

The report said the quality of leadership, teaching and learning and the methods of assessing pupils' progress had improved significantly since the last inspection - in 2004 - and added that the key to the success was the clear vision of the headteacher and deputy headteacher and their urgent drive for school improvement.

The report said: "Pupils are keen to do their best because of the very good relationships with adults in school. The school is rightfully proud of its motto, 'Everyone Matters'."
