THE Isle of Man Government recently launched a search for public relations firms to support the internal marketing teams of four partner organisations involved in a combined PR programme to promote the Isle of Man brand.
Three of them are revenue-producing units of government - Treasury's Isle of Man Finance and E-Business division, and the Department of Trade and Industry.
The fourth organisation is the chief secretary's office, whose needs centre around an overarching promotion of the Island's national identity and reputation in key market areas.
The Department of Tourism and Leisure, another revenue producer, is notably absent from the list. ...
