MIAMI -- Burger King Corp. (NYSE:BKC) announced today the acquisition of 72 BURGER KING[R] restaurants in Iowa and Nebraska from franchisee Simmonds Restaurant Management. This transaction is part of the company's ongoing portfolio management strategy.
