Goettl Air Conditioning, a pioneer in the development of cooling equipment and services in the Valley, has been sold to a Memphis-based plumbing and air conditioning contractor.
The Tempe-based firm was purchased by ARS/Rescue Rooter, which operates a network of company-operated, locally managed service locations in 25 states and the District of Columbia. It is a unit of American Residential Services LLC, also based in Memphis, Tenn.
