City regulator the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has disbanded its professionalism working group and set up a new one under David Kenmir.
The FSA has disbanded its professionalism working group, set up before the onset of the retail distribution review, and replaced it with a new group chaired by David Kenmir, acting managing director of the retail market business unit.
The group's stated objective is to develop and implement a common framework for professional standards covering retail financial advice services, based on the principles set out by the FSA in its April Interim RDR report.
