NEW YORK--The Grand Central Partnership, a privately funded business-improvement district, has launched a marketing campaign to attract retailers to the area around the bustling train station. The marketing program furthers the revitalization of the area as a retail hub.
According to Benjamin Fox, the Partnership's new retail development consultant, the area's demographics have changed in recent years. For instance, he cites the higher concentration of tourists staying in hotels in the district.
