MARK Cavendish today made it a hat-trick of wins in the Tour de France by taking stage 12 from Lavelanet to Narbonne.

The 23-year-old from Laxey, who due to international cycling rules rides under the British flag on the continent, becomes the first Briton to win three stages in a single Tour de France.
