NEW YORK, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Center stage at the Mercedes-Benz New York International Auto Show exhibit is the design concept for the M-Class, the All-Activity Vehicle from Mercedes. The M-Class design concept shows the direction in which the sport-utility market segment is heading. The "M-Class" name itself does not have a meaning; it simply brings the All-Activity Vehicle in line with current Mercedes-Benz nomenclature. As on the rest of the Mercedes line, the alphanumeric badge will include an engine descriptor (e.g. E420 is an E-Class sedan with a 4.2-liter engine).
