AT THE Open Championship yesterday you could have been forgiven for thinking you had stumbled on a golfing version of Life on Mars, and been transported back 20-odd years to the time of the Great White Shark.
Is it truly happening, is Greg Norman really threatening to win this 137th edition, rather than the 115th? The old game has thrown up some improbable tales over the years but this one, with a script by Mills & Boon and an audience that can't believe their luck, ranks up there with the best of them.
