ENGLAND rugby hero Jonny Wilkinson is backing a new holiday guide for his adopted county.
The Northumberland Holiday and Short Breaks Guide 2007 is at the centre of Northumberland Tourism's marketing campaign to attract more visitors to the county.
The Newcastle Falcons' fly-half, who has lived in England's most northerly county for nearly ten years, was there to launch it.
England's best known number 10 said: "Northumberland is a wonderful county with beautiful countryside and wide open spaces heaped in history. For me it is a privilege to be able to live here and enjoy it every day."
