WITH the majority of teams now almost complete, Berwick are in the unique position of not yet having signed any riders at all for the 2006 season.
That is because fans are still waiting confirmation from promoter Peter Waite with regards to which league they are riding in.
Hopes are high that the Bandits will remain in the Premier League, but that is by no means certain, as Waite has indiccated on several occasions in the past that unless the finances are in place a switch to the Conference might be on the cards.
But news which emerged at the weekend seems to suggest Berwick's future is assured, although this has yet to be confirmed by the club ...
