AFTER featuring in both 'The Berwick Advertiser' and 'The Berwickshire News', it seems the mystery of the lamp may well have been solved.
Larry Taylor of Foulden Hagg, had the 3ft high electrical copper lamp in his possession for some time before deciding to do a bit of detective work.
Larry was given the lamp by Andrew Davidson of Blackadder Mains after carrying out some scrap work for him. At the time Mr Davidson told Larry that the lamp was originally from the Old Bridge in Berwick but Larry had never been entirely sure that this was the case.
