Here are the instructions for Week Nine of the Akron Diet. As usual, continue to follow the instructions for the previous weeks, checking off your progress on the Akron Diet chart.
_Food plan: Eat a low-fat lunch.
Choose turkey or ham instead of bologna or salami for sandwiches. Use mustard instead of mayonnaise. Skip the vending machine hoagies and hamburgers, and choose low-fat sandwiches or entrees instead.
Consult the fat gram guide you bought in Week Five for appropriate foods. Also, a number of ideas for healthful brown-bag lunches can be found in an accompanying story. Counting fat grams isn't necessary _ just try to choose fairly low-fat foods.
