SOME nurses lack basic training in treating the UK's biggest killer, heart disease, a poll out today states.
More than one in four (28%) are uncomfortable seeing patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD) while one in eight (14%) have never had any basic training in it.
The poll of more than 800 primary care nurses was carried out for the journal Nursing In Practice.
