NEW homes have gone on sale on part of a former council estate at Illingworth, Halifax.
More than [pounds sterling]15 million is being spent on transforming the Dudley estate by demolishing less popular properties, improving others and building 31 new ones.
Southdale Homes has begun to market three-bedroomed homes for between [pounds sterling]100,000 and [pounds sterling]125,000 but will also be building some two-bedroom split level apartments for less than [pounds sterling]90,000.
