** Natick-based medical device maker Boston Scientific Corp. said second-quarter profit dropped 15 percent as rivals cut into sales of its heart stents and defibrillators.
** Optasite Holding Co. Inc., a national cell-tower operator based in Westboro, agreed to be acquired by SBA Communications Corp., the cell-tower unit for AT&T Inc. and Verizon Wireless, for $253.2 million.
