Article: MALAYSIA'S BERJAYA GETS NOD TO INVEST IN VIETNAM STOCKBROKING JV.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 Asia Pulse - Berjaya Corporation Berhad (KLSE:3395) on Tuesday said its subsidiary company, Inter-Pacific Securities Sdn Bhd (IPS), has received approval from Vietnam's securities regulator to invest VND147 billion (US$9.19 million) in a stockbroking venture.

It said Inter-Pacific Securities on July 21 received the greenlight from Vietnam's State Securities Commission to acquire 14.7 million shares representing 49 per cent stake in the joint venture that will undertake stockbroking and related business.
