Leitrim GAA are to launch a campaign for a greater share of the revenue generated by the opening of Croke Park to other sports after delegates at last Monday night's meeting of the County Board expressed major annoyance with the amount of money handed out to counties.
The County Board voted to allocate a grant of ?250,000 generated by the opening of Croke Park to rugby and soccer internationals to the County training grounds project in Annaduff but the sum of money was described as an "absolute pittance" by delegates who were very unhappy with the lack of money finding it's way to clubs.
