TOKYO, July 24 Asia Pulse - CMK Corp. (TSE:6958) will begin Thai production of build-up circuit boards this autumn in response to growing demand from manufacturers of flat-panel televisions and digital cameras.
Build-up circuit boards are a type of printed circuit board with pre-drilled holes that enable many components to be mounted on a small surface area. At present, CMK makes this product only at plants in Japan and China. But strong demand has prompted it to move forward with plans for production at a plant placed into service last year on the outskirts of Bangkok.
