Article: JAPAN'S TAIYO INK TO INVEST US$10 MLN IN SECOND CHINESE PLANT.

TOKYO, July 24 Asia Pulse - Japan's Taiyo Ink Mfg. Co. (TSE:4626) plans to establish a new plant in China's Guangdong Province in January 2010 to produce ink for printed wiring boards used in personal computers and mobile phones.

The firm will invest 1.15 billion yen (US$10.67 million) this fiscal year to acquire land and construct the building.

The factory, Taiyo's second in China, will produce ink to coat as an insulating material on the surface of printed wiring boards.

The plant's production volume is expected to be around 1,600 tons in fiscal 2010, after which capacity will be gradually raised to enable output of roughly 6,000 tons ...
