The court-appointed receiver for Tirecraft Group Inc.'s bankruptcy proceedings, Ernst & Young Inc., has begun liquidating the firm's assets, disposing of more than 20 retail locations and at least one retread plant as of July 11, with more offers pending.
One of the pending offers is from former Tirecraft co-owner David Cosco and two Tirecraft associates, Darrel Sept and Gary Gray, who are bidding to acquire some stores and/or resurrect the Tirecraft associate dealer program, either under the Tirecraft name or a new identity.
