Article: Public urged to switch from incandescent bulbs to compact fluorescent bulbs.

MANILA, July 23 (PNA) -- The Presidential Task Force on Climate Change (PTFCC) on Wednesday called on the public to replace incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) to reduce the countrys electricity consumption.

Garrie David, Executive Director of PTFCC, said at the weekly forum in Holiday Inn Galleria, that even public officials are not spared from calls to change lifestyles in the name of climate change prevention.

David said that even Secretary Angelo Reyes, energy chief and PTFCC chair, is consciously cutting down on his own energy use to do his part on the calls started by the PTFCC.
