By OUR STAFF REPOTER ISLAMABAD, July 23 (THE NATION): Muhammad Iqbal, Regional Chairman, Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP), called on Ijaz Abbasi, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the President ICCI said that the airlines decision to reduce travel agents commission from 9 per cent to 5 per cent would not only hurt the travel industry but prospective investors would also affect investments in this industry. He said that travel agents are providing valuable services to the air travellers as well as the airlines industry, apart from providing thousands of jobs to people in this age of unemployment. ...
