All these were words applied to Eva Peron, who died from cancer at the age of 33 on July 26, 1952.
She elicited strong and definite reactions; you were either forcibly for or against her.
She was born the daughter of a poor farmer, but became the wife of Argentina's President Juan Peron and wielded power in her own right.
