AMBITIOUS plans to build a visitor and education centre at Beverley Minster have been amended on the advice of English Heritage and conservation experts.
The new plans have gone on display in the Minster and will be on show in the parish hall opposite the church on Saturday May 12.
The proposed changes, coupled with rising inflation, have pushed the cost of the scheme up from its original [pounds sterling]500,000 to around [pounds sterling]900,000, for which grant funding is now being sought.
