From the beginning of current Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2008) about $25 million (220 billion rial) has been invested in Iran s West Ethylene Pipeline and the project is 52 percent complete, West ethylene pipeline project manager said here on Thursday.
Considering the changes in prices it is estimated that the West Ethylene Pipeline project needs about $1.5 billion (1.3 trillion rials) to become operational Seyyed Mohammad Al-e Yasin explained, IRIB reported.
Counting the extensions the pipeline s length is about 2200 kilometers and about 1033 kilometers of pipeline has been laid so far, he added.
