A CYCLIST has died in a collision near Horsham this morning (Sunday).

The incident happened mid-morning in Shipley Road, near Southwater and involved the cyclist and a vehicle.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the cyclist was not local to Horsham district.

The road was re-opened at around 2pm.

An official police statement is due later today.
