Horse Rescue Centre at Ashburnham held its most successful open day ever on Sunday.
Around 1,000 visited throughout the day enabling the charity to raise [pounds sterling]4,700.
Entertainment was provided by belly dancers and performances by the Senlac High Steppers baton twirlers and the Battle-based Freestyle dance group.
Other attractions included classic cars, and archery display and birds of prey as well as a variety of stalls.
The Pearly King and Princess of St Pancreas led a traditional Cockney sing-along.
