SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1996--Sonoma County's Chateau De Baun Winery will become home to the Artisans and Estates group, under terms of a joint agreement announced today by sellers Grace and Ken De Baun and purchasers Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke.
Sale of the winery includes the hospitality center at 5007 Fulton Road, just off Highway 101. It also includes 93 acres of vineyards -- mostly planted to Chardonnay -- all existing inventory, winery equipment and the brand name. It does not include the winemaking facility at 1160 Hopper Ave. in Santa Rosa which will be leased for two years to satisfy all custom grape crushing contracts.
