SO. SAN FRANCISCO, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Imatron Inc. (Nasdaq: IMAT) today said that a major review article in the April 1996 "Mayo Clinic Proceedings" has reported that coronary artery scanning by electron beam CT (EBCT) -- the proprietary technology of Imatron's Ultrafast CT(R) scanner -- has a sensitivity of 94 to 97 percent for detecting coronary vessel narrowing, and is greater than 95 percent effective in ruling out obstructive coronary artery disease.
