ATLANTA - Glen Kaas has a motto which he uses as the basis for buying for The Rolling Pin chain - "when in doubt, go to a higher quality."
This motto helps the 37-store franchise chain compete with the many department store, specialty store and category killers in the Southeast, where the stores are situated. There are eight Rolling Pin stores in Atlanta alone.
"We're going to more high quality, and higher-priced goods," he said. Kaas owns 15 Rolling Pin stores. The Rolling Pin chain had nearly $20 million in sales last year
