Armacell L.L.C. has expanded its foam product range through an agreement with Cellect L.L.C. Terms of the two-part deal effective July 2 were not disclosed.
Armacell has bought Cellect's physically blown polypropylene foam business, including the trade name Pro-paCene. The deal also includes a long- term licensing agreement on certain technology.
In a separate transaction, the two firms have agreed on a global supply arrangement for Armacell to market, sell and distribute Cellect's irradiated sheet foams under the trade name I-Cell. An Armacell spokesman said PropaCene represents a new business area for his company.
