William Patey, the British ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has stated that the Lords ruling yesterday 30 July confirming the legality of the British governments decision to drop the investigations into "Al-Yamamah agreement" under which Saudi Arabia bought weapons valued at 43bn pounds sterling from the "BAE Systems" Company "backs the British governments stand and confirms its validity and closes this case completely."
In a statement he read to correspondents which "Al-Hayat" attended in London yesterday, Patey said: "This is very good news and means the end of this case." He praised Saudi-British relations "which stand on ...
