Apr. 23--HOLLYWOOD DISCOVERS ORANGE COUNTY: Orange County arrived at the Schwab lunch counter of TV, movie and commercial locations, and Orange County was discovered.
"I'd definitely do it again," says Michael Macres, owner of Macres Florist in Santa Ana, whose shop was used as a set last year for "The American President," starring Michael Douglas and Annette Bening.
Major feature films, days of production and revenues are all on the rise in Orange County, largely thanks to efforts of the 20-month-old Orange County Film Commission and individual cities in bringing L.A. film crews south.
