Article: Raytheon awarded $200 million for power project in China.

LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 1996--Raytheon Engineers & Constructors announced today that it has received a $200 million contract from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. to provide engineering, procurement, and other services for a 2 x 660 megawatt class coal-fired power plant in the city of Zhuhai in the Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China.

Preliminary work is under way on the project, which will consist of two 660 megawatt class units. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 1999.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation are under contract to the Guangdong Zhuhai Power Station Company ...
