Round four of the British GT Championship saw 11 cars from the series make the trip to Pau, in France, to run alongside the machinery from the French Coupe de France GT Championship.
An intense battle for the lead developed during the early stages of the race but this did not involve the Porsche 996 of Jonny Lang and local driver Matt Allison.
It was this close race between the two leaders which eventually proved to Allison's advantage. As the pit stops took place, so Allison took over from Lang.
He then went ahead to lead the race through to the finish, giving himself and Lang their first victory of the series.
