Eight policemen killed in militant attack in Pak's Swat valley
Islamabad, Aug 2 (PTI) -- At least eight policemen were killed and five others injured today when their vehicle was targeted by militants in Pakistan's troubled Swat valley, taking the death toll in fighting between the local Taliban and security forces to nearly 90.
The police vehicle was targeted by militants with a remote-controlled roadside bomb when it was on a routine patrol near Hazara village in Kabal sub-district, one of the three areas in Swat that have witnessed the fiercest clashes in recent days.
