(Nasdaq: EECN) and Decco, a business unit of Elf Atochem North America, Inc., today announced an agreement for distribution of Ecogen's new Aspire(TM) biofungicide. Decco is a leading distributor to fruit packing houses worldwide. Decco plans to introduce Aspire this summer for treatment of postharvest rot on apples and other pome fruits, as well as citrus fruit, a marketplace estimated to exceed $35 million.
