I don't claim to be an authority, on cat behavior. I claim only that when a cat spends half its time scratching and biting and tying itself into a knot doing so, the cat must be trying to tell us something.
My reason for such speculation I credit to the two cats we are currently supporting. "Cracker," left by our daughter Shari when she moved to a "no pets allowed" townhouse in South Carolina, is a sexually impaired male, "White Cat," a sojourner who dropped in on us at least ten years ago, had evidently been spayed. knot that these intimacies are relevant.
