YORKSHIRE Pride took centre stage today as the White Rose County celebrated its heritage in style.
Yorkshire Day officially took place today but celebrations are set to run all through the weekend as Tykes come out in force to show just how proud they are to be Yorkshiremen and women.
In Morley, local Independent councillors decided today was the perfect time to sample some Yorkshire delicacies which have made the country famous, such as locally produced rhubarb, Wensleydale cheese and, of course, Yorkshire Puddings.
