A MIRFIELD landlord is kicking off celebrations for Yorkshire Day with a protest beer - and a special kind of meal.
Tim Wood, landlord of the Old Colonial Club, Dunbottle Lane, is to launch Yorkshire Day at the club today (Friday) with 'Brown and Out' ale, the proceeds of which will be used in a campaign to get rid of prime minister Gordon Brown.
