WITH Peter Colledge again absent from the Matlock Cycling Club 10 start line, Chris Green took on the favourite tag - and didn't disappoint.
But it was a narrow margin of victory, his 22.40 just about seeing off the challenge of Belper's Jonathan Marshall.
Another Belper rider, Dave Wallwin, was third, a further 14 seconds behind Marshall.
In fourth place, the up-and-coming Mark Shardlow recorded 23.14, with Steve Heading just four seconds back in fifth.
Father and daughter Adge and Annie Last attempted a two-up TT, but unfortunately Adge didn't complete the course and Annie finished alone in 17th place with 26.04.
