SCARBOROUGH joined the rest of the county to celebrate the 34th annual Yorkshire Day.
Events were held across the town, including a food tasting session at one Yorkshire's family run supermarkets based in Scarborough.
Shoppers at Proudfoot's, in Newby, browsed the numerous stalls that lined the store promoting produce from local sources including scampi from Whitby, local cheeses, wine from Huddersfield, and herbs from Thirsk.
Valerie Aston, a buyer for Proudfoot's said: "Yorkshire Day is a great way to encourage people to buy local produce.
