Tuesday, 5.30pm: CRIME in Skegness has dropped 4.5 per cent in the latest figures released by Lincolnshire Police.
There were 1,051 crimes reported in the town between April and June, compared with 1,100 for the same period of last year.
The number of criminal damage cases fell by 13 per cent, while vehicle crime and theft from a person dropped 19.5 per cent and 25 per cent respectively.
Drug related crimes were up 25.5 per cent and personal robbery was up by 25 per cent.
