KARACHI, August 03 (PPI): The development work on Phase -I of northbound of Lyari Expressway (LEW) from Essa Nagri to Sohrab Goth will be completed by October 2008 and this section would be opened for traffic by then, but the completion of other portion will further be delayed for one to two years due to non-availability of Right of Way (RoW) because of encroachments. Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA) Altaf Ahmed Chaudhry has directed the NHA officials to expedite development work of Phase-I and complete it by October, so that the vehicular movement can be started on it without any delay.
