Diehl Stiftung & Co KG, a family-owned German defence and aerosystems company, said it is acquiring the Airbus plant at Laupheim, Germany. A statement late Friday did not disclose any financial details.
It said the Laupheim site will be integrated into Diehl Aerospace, a joint venture company which is owned 51 percent by Diehl and 49 percent by Thales. Diehl Aerospace in turn is part of the Diehl Groups Aerosystems Corporate Division.
