The six-race unlimited hydroplane season makes its annual Seattle stop this weekend for the Chevrolet Cup, the climax of the Seafair celebration.
This year marks the 58th consecutive race on Lake Washington as Seattle continues to be the only healthy financial stop on the American Boat Racing Association circuit.
"There's lots of pressure for everyone to do well here because there's so much sponsorship money in Seattle," U-37 owner Billy Schumacher said. "For the fans, that should only make the racing better."
