Ever since she was a little girl, Monique Burton dreamed of being in the Olympics.

She began gymnastics when she was 6 and hoped one day to compete on the U.S. team for a gold medal.

Monday, Burton leaves to join the Olympic athletes in Beijing for this year's Summer Games. But she won't be there as an athlete.

Instead, she's one of two team doctors - both from the Seattle area - chosen to take care of the 120 elite athletes on the U.S. track and field team.
